ETHAKKAPPAM(PAZHAM PORI)/ BANANA FRITTERS



BANANA FRITTERS
Ingredients

Banana 3

Maida/All Purpose Flour

1/2 cup Sugar 1 tsp

Turmeric 1/2 tsp

pinch of salt

Baking powder a pinch

Oil for deep frying.



Method of Preparation
1. Mix the maida, sugar, turmeric,baking powder and salt with little water to make a thick batter. 

2. Slice the banana into small pieces.

3.Dip the sliced plantains in the batter and fry them in the hot oil. 

4. Fry until golden brown and drain on a paper towel. 

6. Serve with a cup of hot tea.
